Open Regedit - windows-r and then type in regedit.
Go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband
- You can put this into the 'location' bar in Regedit.
Create the DWORD NumThumbnails and set the value to 1.
